The number of reported disruptions reached its highest point at 18,000 before decreasing to less than 600 by 11:20 a.m. ET. The actual outage numbers may differ from those reported by Downdetector because the platform relies on user submissions to track outages.
X did not immediately comment on the incident. The reason behind the outage remains unknown to the public.
