Emerson Electric increased its 2025 profit forecast because the company faces reduced tariff expenses and its intelligent devices segment shows stronger market demand. The company now predicts adjusted EPS at $6 instead of its previous forecast range of $5.90–$6.05.

The Intelligent devices segment generated $3.13 billion in revenue during the quarter because of increased sales of measurement analytical and safety components. The company delivered $1.52 in adjusted earnings per share which exceeded expectations while its revenue reached $4.55 billion but missed market predictions.

The stock price declined by more than 7% before the market opened because investors remained cautious about the company’s growth prospects.
